Hello, this is ATF with your surf forecast as of:
Saturday, 6:30am
Forecast:
A strong area of Low Pressure off the North Carolina coast will slowly move NE through the day on Saturday. The Low will intensify through the day Saturday as it moves NE.. Strong winds and very messy road, beach, and surf will result! The seas will build through the day and evening hours Saturday reaching 10ft off shore. Sunday High Pressure is forecast to move in setting up NW winds through the day. We should see clean 5'-7' waves through the day with possible morning sickness early! 9am Low tide!
High Pressure will remain in control through Monday with steady NW winds expected. Small 2' surf is forecast!
Late Tuesday into Wednesday we could see another Low develop off the Carolina coast. Early model runs show the Low not being as strong or intense as the Saturday storm!
Further out towards next weekend models suggest a strong Low pushing through Florida and off the SE coast!
More details Tuesday.
